Prof. Li Yaoming won the Innovation Gold Award of the 17th Industry Fair with his project “Key Technology and Equipment of the High Efficiency Rice and Wheat Combining Harvester.” The International Industry Fair, Innovation, Intelligence, and Being Green, was held in the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center 

   The China International Industry Fair, approved by the State Council, is the most influential, and largest international industrial exhibition in China. This session was focused on manufacturing, intelligent upgrading, and leading industry trends. 

   The team led by Prof. Li Yaoming, faced challenges such as grain breakage, blockage of rape cleaning, and low efficiency in the whole system. Their breakthroughs were funded by the National “863” Plan, and “the 11th Five-Year Plan of Scientific and Technological Development.” Prof. Li Yaoming’s award is uniquely conducive to advancing cooperative research between Jiangsu University and the broader industry.
