National Prize for Sci-Tech Advancement 2014 by Researcher Yuan Shouqi
The annual National Science and Technology Award Conference was held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on January 9, 2015. Researcher Yuan Shouqi, President of JSU won the 2nd National Prize for Sci-Tech Advancement 2014 with his project entitled Theory and Key Technology Research for High Efficiency Centrifugal Pumps and Its Industrial Applications.
Researcher Yuan and his team have long been adhering to self-innovation and serving the national economic development with scientific researches. Their research focuses on the break-through in reliability, efficiency and special utility of centrifugal pumps through long-time systematic and in-depth researches.


According to statistics, the research achievements have been transferred to and used in more than 100 enterprises in China. The research not only yields great economic and social benefits, but also promotes China's status and strength in the field of high efficiency centrifugal pumps.
