Two diciplines of Jiangsu University were put into ESI international disciplines ranking list, ranking on the top 1% of global’s

According to the latest datas published by Essential Science Indicators a few day ago, Jiangsu University Engineering and Materials Science two diciplines’ rankings on ESI entered  he top 1% of global universities and institutes. It was the first time that disciplines of Jiangsu University entered top 1% of ESI rankings, marking a new breakthrough in construction gole of more distinct characteristics in Engineering, several first class disciplines, being globle influencing, high standard in multidisciplinary coordinated development, and open teaching research type of comprehensive university.

According to the statistics, disciplines in Engineering of Jiangsu University published a total number of 511 pieces of SCI thesis, times cited of each reached 2.9 on average, the total times cited ranked 903 among 1230 scientifc research institutions which enter into ESI top 1 %; disciplines in materials science published a total number of 746 pieces of SCI thesis, times cited of each reached 2.98 on average, the total times cited ranked 543 among 698 scientifc research institutions which enter into ESI top 1 %, this is a breakthough that deserves a celebration. Among all the 22 disciplines in ESI assessment, Jiangsu University published SCI thesis of 3854 pieces in total, times cited of each reached 2.9 on average, among 4963 institutions whose citations stay on the global top 1%, the total times cited of Jiangsu University ranked at 2040, which is top 0.41% among all institutioin in global. These datas are symbol that Jiangsu Unversity rencent disciplines building has made remarkable achievements, relevant discipines have some higher academic influence in global, reflect Jiangsu University disciplines building entered benign development period, the whole subject level increased significantly and have made brilliant achievement.
