OEC Open Race Challenge Event
For the first time in history an open race competition was organised by the ISSA. The event was successfully organised by the help of ISSA team and OEC staff. The event took place at the east playground of university on 9th July. Many students participated in different races and tried to make some new records and break the old ones. The event started with 100m quick race at 9:30am followed by 1500m race, long jump, 400m race, 800m race, 200m race and finally ending with 4×100m relay race. Many new faces were seen participating for this event as the event was organised in the honour of OEC great athletes Mr Caleb, Ms Maki and Ms Zainab as they graduated and are going to leave the collage. Also the motto of the race was to get best athletes for different races so that they can further train for the upcoming JU sports meet 2016. The event was finally closed by the medal ceremony for the 1st and 2nd position holders of the different races. The winners of the different races are:
